Does anybody know if having gestational diabetes will cause me to be induced? My twin sister had GD…

I have a friend who ended up having an emergency c-section because of it. Everything turned out ok in the end though. :) I wouldn't stress about it to much. Doctor has your back. :) good luck!

@owensmommy85, My niece was 7 pounds & 11 ounces and my sister didn't follow the diet at all. So i'm hoping my baby isn't too big since I will following my diet.

I have gb as well and yes changing your diet could help but then again when I went to see the nutritionist he said even changing the diet may not help. but I hope the best for you as well...

7lbs is a normal weight, 9 lbs and up is considered big. but following your diet they give you is extremely important because if not it could cause low blood sugar in your baby when he or she is born and it can also cause premature labor. I have GD and I'm being induced but not bc of that, but of personal reasons. @haleymclain1121
