So I'm thinking about leaving my almost 4 yr old and my newborn, which will probably be about 1- 1 1/2 weeks old with my mother and father in law over night so me and my husband can have a full day and over night to our selfs to just have a few drinks relax, no video games, no facebook, to reconnect and socialize. I don't know if leaving them over night that young is a good idea. I know it will be hard. but what do you all think. I understand everyone has there own opinions but, please don't be rude. Thanks.

💜I just kept thinking that maybe I was being selfish and maybe shouldn't be leaving the baby over night so soon. but it sucks to feel this way about eachother, and we have felt this way for too long. it's gotta be fixed sooner than later you know!?

You're welcome :) someone told me that once and it stuck with me. Made me realize how important it is to nurture our marriages even in the midst of nurturing our children :) I plan on doing something similar when my baby comes :)

ok. Yea this pregnancy has been hard on me, I guess both of us. we haven't been giving g each other the time we need. we have neglected eachother so much that I feel we are loosing our connection. that's not good. we have been together for 12 yrs. staying connected is hard after so long. lol. but your right. thanks so much

I think it would be very beneficial :) your marriage is just as important as your children 💛 in the end your children will grow up and form their own lives; it's your husband that'll be with you forever :)

Do what you think is best for you and your husband. It's so easy for a man to feel ignored or not needed. We don't have children yet, only angel babies, but we get so wrapped up in work and always having friends over, hosting gatherings, etc. and he will tell me he feels ignored or unimportant. Husband comes first! :)

we need it pretty bad. and I wanna do it sooner than later. and I was thinking the newborn stage is alittle bit easier than 1 or 2 months old. Thank you, it makes me feel better that someone agrees with me @mlgh92

I don't think she gets it.

I swear sometimes I just need to renew my policy to not look at the comments in Facebook. I never used to. I don't know why I started. But the ignorance is real.

babybump_user It's why I rarely get on Facebook I rather get on BB any day
