Has anyone had this happen before? If so how was your experience after the hospital?

When I delivered, my baby was bigger than expected. I pushed for 4 hours. My mom said my doctor finally had to climb on the bed and kind of pull his head out with her hands as she went through two tubes of Vaseline trying to let him slide out. I got 2nd degree tears in my vaginal walls with a lot of stitches

@marzuniversal, @mommakaz he weighed 8 pounds 12 ounces. They didn't tell me how many tears but she said a lot and spent a lot of time sewing

I went through old posts. How many tears did you get?

Second degree tears aren't so bad. They only hurt for a couple weeks. My son came out with his hand bunched up over his face and I tore from that. How big was your son?

@mommakaz, he has been so low in my pelvis for so long they couldn't measure his head in an ultrasound for size. Everyone that felt him through my belly estimated 7-7.5 pounds

That's really strange. I've never heard of this. With the medical field being so advanced, I'm shocked that she was even surprised of his size.
