I'm got my letter after my 25th birthday xx

I've had a letter for one since being pregnant but never before I'll be 25 in august but I'm not allowed it while being pregnant I thought I'd ask try get it all over and done with lol

I'm twenty next month and it was in my maternity notes that I would get a smear in July, I was also told at my post natal check that I'd get a letter in July to make an appointment for one. I'm from Scotland so not sure if it's different where you are. xx

Has to be a gayness referral I'm afraid. The labs won't process any that are not within 6 months of your 25th birthday unless it's from a gynae clinic . But it won't hurt to ask

It's so annoying because it says u should get one after having a child I'm gonna ask my dr apparently it just depends on your dr @h04 I read online that says as long as your dr is willing to do one than its fine but if there not than u gotta wait till your 25 kmt

You won't get offered one until u are 24yrs and 6months x

@mich77, @leanne2016 i always thought that we had smears after havin children too and its a lower age in wales where i had my twins, ive never been offered. something ill ask about after this baby xx

I had my daughter at 18 and was offered a smear after and ever since @leanne2016. seems strange you've never had one especially after having a child...
