It should work. My hair is natural and it's a beast and it works for me... Her hair looks like a smoother grade than mine so it should be great for her... Here's the type of wrap I use

Use any cream that you put into it for moisturizer... But what you'd have to do is tie it down or put a wrap band on it for about 10 minutes or longer if you can. Once it dries, it'll dry flat and straight.

@lexy03212015, that just curls it up. which her hair is already curly. but when it dries it still won't stay down. I don't wanna use a ton of products in her hair. maybe it's a lost cause
