I went into labor yesterday. I went from a 0 to a 4 in 2 hours, and my doctor stopped me because I'm only 31 weeks. The doctor claimed that the hospital doesn't have a NICU, but that's why I chose this hospital, because the NICU care they have. I was alone because my fiance wouldn't get his shift at work covered. It was a hard night. The hospital is an hour away. I drove there, dealt with getting labor stopped, and drove home alone. And when I got home, my fiance didn't want to hold me. Right now I feel so worn out, so, ugh... and so unwanted. 😞

I'm sorry you had to go through that and by yourself. That hospital probably didn't have a level 3 NICU. How are you feeling now? When you're dilated anything over 3cm you should be admitted. But every Doc is different. Please be careful and stay on bed rest.
Whoa hold the phone they should have never ever realesed you!!! I wen to preterm at 32 weeks and was held for over a week! You need to get yourself back to the hospital.
How long did you go through labor? I went through 14 hours of labor when I had Oliver. Would have been longer if the doctors hadn’t given me meds to speed up the labor. I was given an epidural, my blood pressure went down to 80 and they had to give three epidural shots to get me stable again and they had to stop it for 20 minutes because the doctor was out at lunch. 🙄 so by the time I gave birth I felt everything
I’m at a 1 1/5 if I dilate anymore within the next 3 hours I am being transferred to Odessa Tx because our my hospital doesn’t have a NICU.

Ladies I would like to introduce my babygirl. Came to the hospital and was having full blown contractions and doctor decided to operate me. My delivery was so painful I felt everything.

I hear if you go into labor they won't feed you at the hospital until the baby comes because you may poop mistakingly. So my friend told me if I feel like I'm in labor make sure I stop by Wendy's or something before I go to the hospital lol Is this true? were y'all starving?
I went today and found out that the nurse who did the checking and told my dr over the phone what was going on wasn't honest with him. he sent me home again, but said if the pain doesn't stop i need to go in. they have a good NICU, the nurse just didn't want to deal with another baby right after helping another family have their baby. i filled out a complaint against her. I'm still in a bunch of pain, but not contracting.
