I have a tooth that's infected and it just started hurting yesterday..dentists around me are all closed so has anyone…

I never went to the ER, but I had to call a dentist that accepted my insurance and tell them what was going on with my tooth and they got me in that next day and pulled it... ugh girl I was soooooo miserable because of the pain and swelling.

Yup. I have an infection too. Found that the antibiotics aren't helping though. I use 2tbs of warm extra vision coconut oil with 1tbs of clove powder and swish gently for 10-15 minutes. It helps so much. It's a antiinflammatory, and antiviral.

yes they'll give you antibiotics because an infected tooth is no joke.

@momma2bee, Girl, honestly... the best thing for an infected tooth is to just get it OUT! I seriously took all kinds of tylenol, aleve and etc... home remedies and nothing helped me. On monday, just call the closest dentist and explain everything.

@mommakaz, I need to get it pulled but my dentist doesn't open until Monday and he doesn't pull infected teeth unless you've been put on an antibiotic for a few days so I can get one from him Monday but omg I can't wait that long and I figure if I get a head start on the antibiotic he might just pull it Monday. ugh I wish I could call him at home 😭😂 & ill have my so pick those up to try them when he gets off work. thank you

@momma2bee, yes I would go to the er. I thought I had a basic tooth infection but I was wrong 3 surgeries later and a piece of my jaw bone gone . please be careful

I just found a different dentist that takes my insurance thats actually open today thank the lord I have an appointment at 4:30 they are gonna look at it and see if I need antibiotics or just an extraction. I am so relieved @baby_lillis @addisonsmommy2016

Yeah see my dentist is the same way. I'm using the antibiotics for the infection so I can get this tooth out asap, but the coconut oil and clove for the actual pain and swelling.

So the dentist gave me antibiotic & Tylenol 3 prescriptions. He said I have TWO infected teeth that need to be pulled next week after im done with my antibiotic..gonna cost me $650 AFTER insurance though 😭😖😵 @baby_lillis but im feeling better already after I took 1 antibiotic. Thank goodness.
