Not at all! My little brother used sign language to communicate with us until he could talk. It was just a fun cute thing! But also has benefits to it too.

Who said that? It's actually incredibly helpful for their communication. That's like saying teaching Spanish to a child is wrong because they're white.

that is so DUMB. , I learned sign language because my sister had savior autism. and he speech is very delayed. it helps alot with basic communication.

we plan on teaching Genevieve baby signs because it is beneficial. it teaches baby to communicate before she can speak to prevent frustration and temperature tantrums....your baby's father probably just isn't educated about it. Find him a good article to read about it's benefits and he may change his mind. good luck

are you serious! both my kids learned sign language neither are deaf my daughter is going to college to get certified in ASL. I taught my 3 nephews sign language & will definatly be teaching my twins sign language.
