I feel like the closer I get to my due date the more confused I get about all these different views. Feeding from the breast and pumping and the feeding the breast milk to the baby through a bottle , to me , seems like it would have the same benefits as each other. The breast milk is still getting to the baby...
Right?
Also, I just got some breast milk storage bag samples... And I was wondering... They look an awful lot like just regular ziplock bags with fancy printed images... Is it bad that I was thinking I can use regular bags to store it? Those bags are damn expensive

They look like it but I think they're specially made so they can be frozen and defrosted without affecting the milk. The biggest difference is that pumping to feed takes a lot more time, whereas breastfeeding it's already ready and warmed any time lol. Either is great!

feeding off the boob is just more convenient lol, you don't have to carry a bottle with you everywhere you go. also, bottles of milk go bad eventuakly, if they are left out for too long, and you can only reheat them once. the milk in the boob never goes bad! lol
the bags usually have two zippers instead of one, to prevent leaking, and to me they are way thicker than any zip lock bag other than maybe the freezer ones, but those are expensive too.

When you breastfeed from the boob if your baby is sick or starting to get sick your body adds the antibodies that Baby needs to fight off the sickness to your milk and they get it from you. If you pump that will never happen because your body wont be able to detect babies sickness.
