Took Alyx to the dealership the other day and the guy asked me if I wanted to trade him in because I qualify for any 2016 on the lot for just 220 a month!! I'm good with my paid for 2008 !!! I'm comfortable with knowing that I can spend my money on something other than a car payment and I don't have to wait years to own it.

@elizabeth1617, same thing with my Mitsubishi! They've been hounding us for 2 years now about trading in. Ha! Mofo I'm not jumping into another payment until I have to! 😂
@elizabeth1617, right... Like these are perfectly good cars. I feel at peace knowing that no matter the circumstances I don't have to worry about not having a car! Chevy sends me letters all the time! And insurance is lovely!!!
Isnt it just the best feeling in the world to have a paid off vehicle!? Our 2005 Toyota Sequoia is paid off and our 2010 Ford Explorer is very close to being paid off. The dealership we got the ford from keeos calling and sending us mail trying to buy it back from us, for what we owe, and get us to upgrade. Nope, not happening its in perfect condition with low mileage and just months left to pay on it i am not about to start over again.
