When did your baby start hold his/her head up by themself? Mine is 3 months old and she can't hold it up straight but she can hold it up with her head tilted a little to one side. Should I be worried?

@nichole_lynn, alright thank you I was just a little worried because another app said she should be good by now. And @aalyx_xoxo I do that all the time and she loves it, she can sit up by herself for a minute or two before falling to the side (I only do this on our bed though so it's cushioned if she falls)

ahhh shes fricken adorable! she's perfectly normal, NOT BEING MEAN, she's just top heavy, her heads heavier than the rest. My son did that too! his head was in the 95th percentile. he's 14 months old and still top heavy :) Shes okay!

My daughter was a late bloomer. Maybe your baby is a late bloomer too. You can always consult the doctor and see what they say? Sometimes they have things they have you do at home to help babies hold their head up by themselves.

talk to your pediatrician, because they make hats for children who favor one side when holding their head up and in general favor one side like when laying down (could cause a flat spot) not trying to scare you, I promise!

is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page

Mamas, Baby Dove is 11 days old and has been holding her head up since she was 3 days old. Not just holding it up, but turning her head, and repositioning. I've taken several videos of this because it's so crazy... in one video, she holds her head up for almost 25 seconds. She's even held her head up during a sneeze. This isn't typical at such a young age, right?!
