My newborn is never full when I give her my milk. Is that normal? She'll eat 2oz sometimes 2.5 oz and that's not enough. Is it okay to feed her extra milk until she stops eating?

@kamilasmama, yea.... I breastfeed so I never really know how much he eats. He was on my boobs constantly for the first 3 weeks, so not sure how much he got out.

I burp her after every feeding. When she gets hungry she tries eating her hand that's how I know she's hungry. I know their stomach is tiny which is why I'm wondering @bri28

babies will eat what they need. just maybe burp her half way through. sometimes babies will get a bubble and the discomfort is confused with hunger so they continue to eat.

@kamilasmama, she has to be full. Their bellies at that age are the size of a small grape maybe, so not much will fit in there. The more u give her, the more her tiny stomach will stretch and she'll want more and more and more. Maybe she's colicky? Try to burp her more often
