How can you tell if your baby has tongue tie? I've been feeding now for almost 2 wks, I'm supplying the baby with milk with out a problem, and for the most part she latches fine. But that initial 7seconds when she first latches still hurts!. I also use petroleum on my nipples too. I'm getting a pump tomorrow to see if that helps. Advice?

I had no idea that tongue tie was an actual thing. I thought it was just a saying.   If you goole it and look at the images you might be able to tell.    My son has a type of tongue tie and I had no idea.   I don't even thing his pediatrician knows.   She thought he had thrush.

Oh no she didn't. I've nvr heard of it so I had no idea what it even was. I ddnt know it was something like that.

did the doctor say the baby had a tongue tie? under the tongue there's a flap of cartilage or w.e it is u can see it when u lift your tongue lol it comes out further than normal when someone has a tongue tie
