If anyone knows the answer to this please respond..... ok so the father of my child is on the birth certificate & if my child gets on Medicaid or if I want to receive SNAPS / any government assistance.. he'll have to get on child support........ Why is this the case? Could this change if we get married? What did you all do about this?
So if we get married there's still a possibility I could receive government assistance? & if he makes to much money we won't be able to get the assistance? right? @sparklymama
This is because government assistance has to be paid the child support helps in this case the government considers assistance temporary... it would change if you are married however you could lose your assistance depending on his income because it is then considered in the qualifications income guidelines
exactly @foreverlaquan just depends on the income requirements of the county
