I just went through a C-section. mine wasn't bad at all. I was able to do skin to skin, and my husband took her to the nursery while I was in recovery. I was numb from my chest down, I could use my arms but felt nothing. the tugging and pulling was all I felt. she was out pretty quickly. the only thing that really bothered me was when I got my feeling back, and they would have to press on my belly to make sure my uterus and everything were going down, it hurt. and I actually walked the hall 14& 1/2 hours after I had mine. the lower they cut you, the better I think. my ob cut me a little above my vag, so the scar would be less painful. but, if I had a choice, I would have went vaginal. but, I cherished my daughters health more than my own. if you do go that route, make sure you drink plenty of water afterwords. good luck!

mine wasn't bad. I was numb but could feel the tugging. once they started she was out within a few minutes and I really didn't think about anything else...I was able to do skin to skin and my husband took her into recovery and was waiting for me when I got in there. once I could feel my legs again they had me up walking...I also have the stitches that devolved which was nice. I was on pain pills for two weeks but by then I really didn't need them and by 4 weeks I was pain free just had to remind myself to take it easy still. I did have help, my parents came to stay with me and my husband had off so I didn't have to worry about anything but my baby which if you can have help. the worst part was getting up and down and in and out of bed. plus the swelling...I swelled up for weeks but eventually went alway. overall my experience was not bad.

everyone has a different experience. i had one almost 7 years ago and for me it was alot of tugging and pressure because my daughter was so far down in the birth canal. the recovering process was a pain because of discomfort and limited to very little.

Short Luteal Phase?

I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
