Has anyone had a water birth? What are the pros n cons. I'm really thinking about it but I'm unsure.

cons- no epidural.

I'm about to have my first water birth any day now and I am over the moon excited. I'll let you know ;)

It's absolutely wonderful, if you're not high risk of complications

Lol... pro: no epidural. You're free to move around, get into positions that work for you, baby is born more alert, breastfeeding is learned a bit faster.

My fiance's best friend's wife/ my midwife has had three girls all in which were water births. She loved it.

I really wanna try it for this baby.
