I've had mine in since I was 13, I'm now 26. My doc said I can switch it out with a plastic one but I've decided I'm just going to take it out and if it closes up it closes oh well I'm not too worried about it. I'm 19 weeks and I still have it in. Lol. I'm going to take it out soon though. If yours is newly done I would maybe leave it in until you start to really show or just take it out now and be done with it. It's your own personal choice/decision. 😊

Well it's kind of infected. I clean it twice a day, (that's what the piercer told me) and every morning, it hurts, and there's always foul smelling drainage

if you don't want to take it out I'd say clean it 3 times a day and keep neosporen on it and get the maternity belly rings

I've pierced mine a couple times and would recommend leaving something in it (I have the pregnancy ones that are flexible) if you don't want it to close up.

I didn't even know they had pregnancy rings 😶

I'm 36 weeks and still have mine in and it's a regular one to doc said until it bothers me I don't have to take it out until I deliver

I got a pregnancy one but it still hurt mine to be in so I took it out at like 24 weeks and didn't put one back in until my daughter was 4 months but I have had mine done for 2 yrs so it didn't close but try a pregnancy on I got mine off Amazon

I've had mine since I was 12, so 10 years of having it pierced. I had to take mine out at 28 weeks because it started really bothering me. My dad has been piercing and tattooing for 25+ years and said it would still close on me and due to the scar tissue I wouldn't be able to get it pierced again. So he got me a flexible rubber maternity belly button ring. and it's WAY comfortable and worth it.

I also put coconut oil on it since it's a antifungal, antiviral and antibacterial. Because mine got infected after 10 years.
