Breastfeeding is kind of hard. he latches on great the problem is keeping up with his demand. ive hardly gotten any sleep or neen able to do anything for myself because my son cries cries cries until he can eat. during the night he wakes up every two hours and same thru daytime. and he feeds for about an hour. today was really rough he wanted to eat almost every 30 mins. and cried every single time i think because im running out milk. he pulls off and gets frustrated then latches back on. idk what to do. he cries so much, is crying alot normal? im a ftm
When they're two weeks old they usually hit a growths spurt. Don't think you're not making enough you just latch him on whenever he wants to so he can build up your supply. You're doing great keep up the good work :)! @angel268
Hes probably just comfort feeding, if he isnt crying, and is only sucking. I plan on giving my next baby the pacifer right away haha, I dont know how you have done it so long. It took me a couple days just to break down
@rachel8792, yes my son son is latched right now and i dont even think anything is coming out! hopefully things get better
Thanks ladies!! @tlcmm1124 @rachel8792 And no mama, you're most definitely NOT alone haha @angel268
sounds all about normal it will get easier and longer breaks. my daughter was the same at first. with my baby when she pulls off and on it means she needs to be burped. hang in there mama!!
Hes cluster feeding, or comfort feeding. My son did the same. I cried for a couple days, and called my mom. I always said I wouldnt use a pacifier, but now I do haha
My son rejected it, but I kept putting it in his mouth, and he got the hint that I wasnt going to be his human pacifier.I used Nuk, and it worked like a charm. Its hard in the beginning, sometimes they just want to be latched onto something
Also, our boys were born the same day and were due almost the same day too!!!
Hey there 🙋🏻 when my son does that it means he's fussy about something in the beginning it was usually colic/gas so he would comfort feed now it teething.... Once colic and gas is over you have teething to look forward to
