i just had my 2nd son tuesday...this might sound dumb,but did you guys ever feel guilty,like your oldest will feel like they werent enough or like they were being replaced?you know its not like that,but you feel guilty for them?
I did at first. But I try my best to give them equal amount of attention and whenever the baby is sleeping it's just me and my oldest son so we will do fun crafts together and stuff. The only thing you can do is make them feel included and like you had another baby for them, so that they could have a sibling.
i just needed some reassurance that i wasnt crazy or being too emotional.my 6 year old is already very included even in the throwing away dirty diapers.lol.i just needed a pep talk on it.
Yes I felt that way! That is such a normal thing to worry about! Try your best to do something special for your oldest everyday. Even if it's just something small. My daughter likes to feel included, having her bring me a diaper makes her feel needed and it helps me. I let her hold the baby too. Don't worry you will do fine!
