My son is 4 months. He's had his 2 sets of vaccines on time. He just cries a bit when he's getting them, but then seems to be fine. I make sure to give him Tylenol and have a bottle ready right after. Just remember that in the state of California shots are required to enroll your child into any public school or preschool. I'm not sure about private school. Either way the decision is yours.

My 3 year old is vaccinated up until his 2 year shots. His doctor was a bully. We're lucky that he wasn't vaccine injured but he's always sick. We're choosing to not vaccinate our 2 month old. We might be looking at issues with his dr but I'm looking into seeing a holistic dr instead of medical.

It's not speculation that certain vaccines cause SIDS. I read that information on the insert that comes with the vaccines. It's not an opinion. In the study there were a number of babies that died of SIDS. It wasn't just an article that someone wrote. They did studies.

Or something you can do is ask your pediatrician for a vaccine insert lets see if he/she gives it to you bc most wont. @mamaash

Please look up on each ingredient on the vaccines. You can delay a vaccine but you can never undo them. If youd like and if u have a facebook u can join "vaccination re-education discussion forum" you can ask any questions and there are also mommies who are going to delay and there are mommies who have vaccine injured babies. You can also watch on youtube "the greater good" for good info. @mamaash

@mamaash, with anything there are risks. Whether you choose to vaccinate or not. my uncle has 12 kids all of them are vaccinated. None of them have issues. My other uncle has 2 kids and he didn't vaccinate his kids and they're fine too. I'm choosing to vaccinate my boy because I feel it's the right thing to do and they have to have their shots in order to go to school.

No vaccines for us. I'm part of a Facebook group about vaccination re-education. I could invite you to it if you want. Lots of information! Also I've been reading the inserts that come with vaccines and one that my dr is pushing hard says it could cause SIDS. Not worth the risk in my opinion.

At their to month shots they get 6. 2 shots and 1 oral so they are combined. It's the same for 4 month and 6 month check up. I did the one at birth. Then at two months I only did 2 vaccines, and we came back about a month later and got 2 more and so on. We did the same for the four-month shots. We did 2 and then came back at five months and did the other 2 and again a couple weeks later got 2 more. At his six-month shots we only did the TDAP because a case of whooping cough was in my town. The rest we have pushed until next month and will only do two at a time for the rest of them. He has never had a reaction. Not even a fever

@bernadette, thank you again for all your information you're so helpful! and as for the whole flu shot thing i didn't even know that. i actually myself have never got it. i never get sick either so i thought why do i even need to get that. if i get sick it's just one time during the whole year. also my son will not be in daycare at all so that's easily avoidable for me.

Correction: autism CAN be cured*

@mamaash, I know, it's scary shit! Because of the heightened awareness, it often if falsely diagnosed. The spectrum is so broad that learning disorders are diagnosed as autism. This happened to my SIL. After speech therapy her son was speaking accordingly to his age group. So it's not a death sentence and is cured with the proper therapies. One thing I would advise against is the flu shot. Especially if your baby isn't in daycare. This shit contains the highest levels of preservatives which is also linked to autism. For me, I never have received the flu shot so my children won't either. They're not in daycare so when it's flu season I'm hyper vigilant of hygiene and spreading the virus.

There is no proof that autism is caused by vaccines. The doctor who came out and said that actually retracted his statement and said he was line. He also got his doctors license taken away for it. We vaccinate but do a slower schedule that is more spaced out. I just feel more comfortable with it and I want him to get all his vaccines just not all at once and so quickly.

@alexislopez, i know! this is exactly me. i just keep thinking did something change in the shot? was there a different chemical or something added to it? to make all these different views on it. what scares me is when i read stuff on here about moms saying it shots cause autism. some way like that. i haven't really done extensive research on that part yet but i'm like what in the world.. how is that even a thing? i'm just as paranoid as you. i just want what's best for my son.

@mamaash, yes, a reaction when you were younger. Even then it doesn't necessarily mean your baby will have a reaction. Any by reaction I don't mean a fever or slight fussiness the days following a vaccination. I mean regression in development or something that is noticeably off in your baby's behavior. I know these are not the things we want to hear but this is what a lot of anti vaxxers will tell you about being vaccinated. Do I dare even mention autism?? 🙉🙈🙊 because that's what's really he issue with vaccinations. There's seems to be a belief in correlation of vaccines and autism. Personally I don't believe that. As someone who studied in the medical field, the information isn't out there to support that claim ( for those of you who would like to test my beliefs and knowledge of the subject, please refrain because I WILL NOT indulge you). There seems to be a heightened awareness of the MMR shot in particular because it has supposedly been linked to autism. The MMR shot is administered at 15 or 18 months and this just so happens to be when developmental delays links to autism begin to develop. Just do your research and be extra cautious of the source.

The way I look at it I would rather have my children get a reaction then my child be dead because of the disease that was completely avoidable. Or for some people's argument that it gives autism, I would much rather have a child who has autism then have a dead child

I still torn even after getting him his shots bc I'm just paranoid 24/7. But the way I look at it, as much as I don't want any pain for my little baby I would rather him have a reaction to the shots that last a couple days than a disease that he could get from not getting his shots. I really really try and not let "anti-vaccinations" influence me because it's my baby. I and everyone I know is vaccinated and we are all okay.

@alexislopez, this is me. i never knew it was even a thing not for vaccinations or pro vaccinations until i became pregnant. everyone i know has their shots. we all came out okay. but it's such a big topic now that i began to feel torn. because i was always planning on giving him his shots.

@bernadette, that's what scares me. as of right now my sons super healthy and i just don't want to give him his shots and he's that small group of babies that doesn't take the shot too well.

I was really torn on this too because I always planned on getting my son his shots but I see so many different things. I did end up getting my son is two month shots and he was just a little needy afterwards. He didn't get a fever thankfully. I am going to continue to give him his shots, I just will always keep an extra eye on him after for the next couple of days bc I'm a paranoid mom lol

@bernadette, reactions to the vaccinations when we were younger right? no we didn't. but if we did would that mean our son would have more of a chance of a bad reaction as well?

It's hard to say because all babies are different and you just do not know if they will have an adverse reaction. Have you or the father had any reactions to vaccinations? If so, then I might reconsider or just delay the particular vaccination that caused a reaction. Do your research and whatever you question, bring it up with your pediatrician and do not let them blow your questions off.

Elliot has gotten all his shots since he was born, and on time too. The only thing I don't like is he gets a fever for a day or 2 after.
