I hate it when people judge before they know the situation :/ by the way, a midwife tried to do my sweep and couldn't because my cervix was too closed... I didn't know this was even a thing 😂 xx

loool I know it's very annoying... and yeah I've been researching that it's good if it works but if it don't you've gone threw that pain for nothing 😷 I'm gonna try and get mw to examine Me first to check if it's soft or open before doing it @firsttimemummy21

I had an internal exam before my sweep and she didn't say anything about my cervix being closed xxx

She didn't even say anything after!! She finished and then pissed off and then came back and I said "so is that the sweep done now?" and she just said "yeah but I couldn't do it. Your cervix is too closed" 😳

I had mine with my 3rd child to avoid induction with high bp from 37 weeks had them every 3 days went into labour at 38w plus after waters breaking but it didn't start straight away was 28 hrs after waters going that I had her

@suzie80, awww so that was a long labour x

I started contracting straight away then stopped when I went in they sent me home then stared again went back next day and they stopped then started properly at midday and had her tea time

I alway try not to judge unless I have the facts. I'd rather ask questions first

I'm booked in for a sweep at 38 plus 6 I could have had it at 38 weeks which is tomorrow but my appointment was today and she didn't want to do it a day early which I don't understand at all since they want to induce me early anyway ( I have a heart condition which means my natural labour has to be controlled I.E epidural earlier than 4 cm dilated and only in labour so many hours so my heart isn't strained)
