so i am getting my bag ready for the hospital i am going off of this list from pintrest and on it it says breat pump. did any of u mommys need ur brest pump? should i really take it? i thought a lot of mommys milk didnt even come in till 4 days pp.
I've never done a breastfeeding class- wish I did with my first because breastfeeding didn't work for us. I wouldn't think they would discuss pumping in a breastfeeding class, or at least not a lot but you could definitely ask about it when you go to the specialized class. What kind of pump do you have?
ooh thats good to know to. maybe i will take it then. i am planning on doing a brestfeeding class soon. do they go over how to use the pump then?
I took mine in but I had different circumstances (since my baby was very premature). I don't think you need to take it in unless you want the lactation consultant/specialist to teach you how to use it. Generally speaking it's not recommended to pump in the first 6 weeks of breastfeeding anyway.
they have them in the hospital if for some reason you would need to use one 👍
