That's not bad, wish mine was like that @sinlou93 , just shit because my sister doesn't work at all, nor does he boyfriend, and they get like £800 a month in benefits, they only pay £8 a week in rent, and £20 council tax, where as I have to pay £400 rent and £105 council tax, so they end up with more money than us a month, by not working, than we do working full time xx

ive done a rough estimate for me and my partner and we will get 570 for 2 kids olus my partners wages x

I don't want to as the place I work is horrid and have been very unsupportive, I went into labour at 25 weeks, and my colleagues where basically saying that's not an excuse to be off work, because my baby didn't come they managed to stop it, but I was in hospital for 7 days! xx @sinlou93

They've changed the threshold for how much your allowed to earn now. It's ridiculous. Now harder for normal working class to get any help! Its shocking xx

That's what I'm confused about, because it says that were not entitled to working tax credits, and should only get £12 child tax credits per month, but I don't understand that at all? @sinlou93 @stacey804 @kelsxox xx

it took mine 15 working days so 3 weeks to come back. but you can ring them and ask them hun and if you put in working tax credits calculator on google. you put your details and your partners in and it gives you a rough idea on what you may get xx

If it's maternity allowance forms your waiting back on that should take about 2-4 weeks. The benefits though, you probably won't be able to claim anything until baby arrives. Me and my partner earn just a small amount less then you and aren't entitled to any working tax credits, but when I finish maternity I won't be returning to work so can claim then. When you've had the baby you should get child tax credits and child benefit though. I would go onto the government website and do the calculator thingy. Might give you a rough idea xx

@lolliigee, you'll hear within 14 days of sending your form off and you'll definitely be entitled to something. go on gov.uk and use the benefit calculator, it'll tell you of you're entitled to anything and how to claim xx

I've sent my form of for maternity but I don't know how long it takes to come back, and I don't understand what other benefits you get? as my partner works full time, he gets 17, 500 a year, but I only work 16 hours, I get 6500 a year, so I don't know if we get any benefits xx @sinlou93
