well I finish work on Saturday but I'm still not sure what maternity money will be... my boss cut hours after I had a bleed at 14 weeks and she thought as long as I did over 15 hours a week that was fine she would still pay my money to me but her accountant said I have to earn over £122 a week to get it! now I have to claim it from the job center and have no idea how much I'll get or what I'm entitled to 🙁 I'm really nervous I'm going to have to go back to work a lot earlier than I want to coz I won't be able to afford to be off 😢

if ur claiming through gourvenment. u send off your higest paid wage slips in a 66 week period. if uve earn more than the 138 per week in that period u will get that for 39 weeks x

@summertimebaby16, through the job centre as my employer told me I wasn't employed long enough to receive it from them xx

@beccastirlingx, do u claim that through the job center or from your employer? the accountant did say I could get other benefits depending on circumstances xx

@summertimebaby16, my maternity is 140 every week, I get paid every 2 weeks so 280 every 2 weeks or 560 a month. Youll also be entitled to child benefit, possibly working tax credit - depending on your partners income and obviously child benefit X
