Did anyones baby start to move less in 39 weeks almost 40 weeks? My son hasnt made any big movements in the past 6 hrs but I keep checking his heart rate and its in its normal for him. I am just a little nervouse that something might be wrong but hoping that its just the fact hes got no room.

They start moving less because they're out of room and moving into position.

@dcb012, It just makes me nervous because he has been super active every 2-3 hrs for 30 minutes to an hr for weeks then today hes barely moving and when he does they are slow and weak feeling.

They're also probably sleeping.... As you get closer they start regulating their sleep schedule.... But they're running out of room and settling into your pelvis which will cause them to move less.

As long as baby is still moving there's no huge reason to be concerned.

Your baby should never decrease movement. They do become less forceful.

It's normal. He must be getting into position! Maybe baby time is coming soon😚

Do not overthink things. My first born barely moved in my womb throughout my whole pregnancy. I would only feel his hiccups and rarely and he is a perfectly healthy 3 1/2 year old. Trust me your baby is fine. 👍🏼
