I just dont want you to regret making that decision, i know you are scared, but surgery is scarier. If you couldnt handle it you wouldnt be abke to get pregnant. Your body will know what to do, believe me. Just know that the pain is temporary and there are many ways to get pain relief that is more natural (water birth, essential oils, pressure points and lots more). Just do some research and i bet you will feel more confident in yourself and in what you can handle. Look up the different birthing methods besides lamaze (sp). there are also some pretty awesome birthing apps for phones now.

Okay, thanks! The fact that you don't know when labor is going to start and that it can happen anywhere and anytime just freaks me out a bit. But I've got time to become prepared! Thanks @machelle137

yeah, thats crazy. :) i have had 3 hard labors so far and this will be my 4th. i would never choose to have a c-section but this time it seems to be my only choice. :( your body wont release the bonding hormones, your recovery time is much longer, your baby wont get the healthy germs from your private area (to help boost immune system) more chance of complications and lots more.

I understand! For a while I was so scared of delivery that I wanted a c section: I didn't want to tear, I didn't want the pain, I didn't want my vagina to be ruined lmao, but I would like to be able to recover as quickly as possible and deliver with as little risk as possible and I know that vaginal is probably the best thing to do. I would just talk to your doctor about it and see what your options are!

Those are good points! Thanks! The scariest thing, or the most anxiety causing thing, for me is the unknown at the end. @katarama

Most will only induce you if you're overdue or if there's a medical reason. And c-sections kinda vary, but a lot of insurances won't cover them unless they're medically necessary.
