so what happens when you start having blood pressure issues this late in pregnancy?!? do they admit you until it's safe to take baby or do they send you home? I go to the doctor in the morning but my BP is up again tonight and I have nothing ready for the baby or a hospital stay. I'm kinda nervous any ladies have experience?

I went to Labor and delivery to be monitored because of my swelling and high BP when I was 37 weeks. They sent me home. One week later, my doctor sent me back after my appointment, and they induced me because they found protein in my urine. Just make sure you and your doctor monitor it closely, and if you feel like something is wrong, speak on it!

Happened with my first. They just put me on limited bed rest. And I just had to be monitored more closely. They made me do a 24 hour urine to make sure there was no protein and that it wasn't pre eclampsia. And i ended up having him at 40+6

I packed before I went to Labor and Delivery the second time because I knew I wasn't going back home until after she was born. Just pack a going home outfit and blanket for baby, and pjs, toiletries, and a blanket/pillows for you!

I had to go to a doctors appointment twice a week and the hospital twice a week for stress tests!
