Labor story: we came in yesterday morning to start pitocin, but even with it maxed out my contractions stayed 4-5 min apart. OB broke my water and then things got going really quickly. Baby boy started having some heart rate issues, so I had to lay back on my side. Contractions stayed so close together and painful that I went ahead with an epidural. Weeeellll, the lab never ran my blood drawn that morning and I couldn't get it until they had my blood count done. So I asked for it at 2:30, but didn't get it til after 3:45! 😒 I was 4 cm then. The nurse checked me 20+ min later-6 cm. My husband got back from eating 25 min later and I was at 8. Then, the nurse helped me reposition to get completely dilated, and next thing I know, I feel his head drop lol! Call my nurse and she's running to go call my OB 😂 5 min of pushing and our stubborn boy finally got here!
