Can someone explain to me what percentiles mean? Like if my daughter is in the 60th percentile for something for her age. I asked my pediatrician but I'm still confused lol

Exactly ... It means she's bigger that 60 percent of babies

ahhhh OK that makes a lot of sense! she said haizyl is in the 60th percentile for her weight which I'm guessing means only 40% of babies weigh less than her for her age.

Soo I'm not sure but I believe it's basically a comparison to other babies. So like say 50% of babies are born weighing 7lbs, and then your baby is 7lbs he/she would be in the 50th percentile. At least that's what I think! Lol
