Really fed up. Had midwife last week BP was high and got sent home and told to rest. Went to day unit Monday feeling unwell etc. Told BP and pulses were up and down to rest and drink more. Been to midwife again today and BP is high again, she called day unit to send me in and they said they want me at 9.30 tomorrow morning. I'm tired of messing about now 😦 x
OT. our baby girl! :) I was induced yesterday morning due to high bp at 38 weeks & 2 days.
Admitted in labor & delivery due to high bp, excessive swelling on face, feet, ankles, legs, hands and severe headaches "sign of preeclampsia" doc wants to wait anotherrrr week to induce me. Bed resting until then 😩 im beyond exhausted!!! Oh.. And that's my mother in the background 👯
High BP My BP was high-ish at my checkup today. 138/87. It's been on the higher side the last two appointments. :-/ He wants me to come back in on friday for another BP check.
Well- Jude James is coming at 36w exactly. Bp was too high again. Being induced today, been on pitocin since 5pm. Wish me luck ladies. Thinking of you all. Xoxo
Okay so question. I got a steroid shot at 1PM on Friday waiting for 1PM today Saturday to get my 2nd one.. They told me since my BP is high they will induce me by the end of the night today Saturday.. But there is a chance I might just be on bed rest if my BP goes down but my BP has been up high then just high then lowers but still consider high BP. Has anyone experience this and ended up not getting induce ? Orrr since my BP has just been high I'll just get induce for the safety of the baby? And if you did get induce how long until the baby was born.. They are telling me it could take days.. Like what!! And on top of that I would be having her vaginal when since the beginning I been wanting csection (crazy I know) but I was more comfortable with that. Thanks in advance!

@suzie80, I'm not sure I couldn't see on the monitor but they said she was fine after about an hour. She moves fine and everything else I just wonder how bad it actually gets when I'm at home not being monitored or anything. I'll be making sure I get more answers in the morning x

They keep telling me I'm dehydrated and the warm weather is the problem @suzie80 I'm pretty sure I know how much I drink lol. I know I'm going to go to the unit tomorrow. They're going to keep me a few hours, put me on the monitor etc and then say your blood pressure is normal and send me home again. I can't win. And the words of the midwife I saw on Monday before I left - "Other women in here would kill to have your blood pressure readings".. All I can think about is how my little baby's heart is racing and they just said it's because my pulse is fast... what am I supposed to do about it 😂 x

That's silly as hell. I spent 3 whole months in hospital waiting to deliver my girl as at 28 w my bp shot up and I put on 3 stone in fluid in a few weeks I couldn't move I ended up being induced at 39w with hellp it was silly back then I thought things had improved they delivered my 4th at 37 straight away with high bp
