Hate it when mothers and families talk to the baby.... baby talk.... it'svery annoying !The baby doesn't understand you.... is this just me? sometimes I walk out of whatever or wherever they are.... I can't stand it.....

it's actually been proven that babies who get spoken to in baby talk learn the difference in tones and inflection faster.

No the baby can't understand what you're saying, but hearing your voice soothes and calms them. I baby talk my baby and he loves it, he's so alert.

@kaylaskibinski, it's OK when u do it at your house and all but people do it in public and everyone looks at each other and no one says anything..... but we all know what we are thinking

I think more people should talk to their babies, makes them more intelligent. Everyone I know that does it, has advanced children who speak in almost complete sentences when they're 1-2 years old. If it bothers you so much, ignore it?
