Up feeding her like crazy hoping that she passes this freaking bilirubin test tomorrow. She's pooped 3 times so far, woo!
I thought that it hurt to birth her.. Nope. Seriously nothing compared to the helpless pain of seeing her cry and writhe in pain from blood draws. 😢 Please send some good vibes our way...
idk what my sons was at birth.. but the day we were sent home is was 13.. and a few days later at his pediatrician appointment it was 26.. he had to get put under the light for 2 days :(.. i heard lack of vitamin plays a role.. been giving him vitamin D drops and its staying at a steady 11mg.. hoping it goes down by his 1month check up
@zombibaby, wonderful I'm happy for you guys! As soon as she wakes up I'll try feeding her again she was so wiped out from today's bloodwork. She pooped 5 times overnight! :)
she didn't need it is just kept feeding her every two hours to keep her pooping and took her on walks in her stroller and let the sun hit her now she's 14 days old and no more jaundice
@zombibaby, sigh thank you. She did better today with the blood draw. Did she need light therapy? We're going to sit in the sun for a few minutes.
@mommybug, ugh poor baby and mama. I can't begin to imagine what y'all are going through! These blood draws alone are a nightmare. I've been doing the Vit D drops and still taking my prenatal vitamin. She's been pooping a lot thankfully and that's supposed to help so feed feed feed and sunlight is what I've been told. Sending good vibes!
