Can somebody help me out and tell me what you did when you first started your baby on solids?
My son's doctor talks really fast and didn't really give too much detail, he just said that Henry's ready for solids.
How many times a day do I feed him solids? Do I give him solids and formula at the same time, or separately? Will it reduce how much formula he takes?
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
Question ladies I started giving my son solid food at 4 1/2 months old. And I only gave him 2oz of oatmeal and half a container of veggies once a day he gets it before bed I'm currently still doing the same feeding with it but I know when they get older you can do veggies like 2-3 times a day. How much do you guys do a day?
Do all BM (babymommas) give you a hard time ? Lol If so how do you deal with it .?

its best to wait until at least 6 months of age to start solids. then start introducing one new food every 3 or so days. try to to mix foods until baby is a bit older. This is to ensure you know what baby reacts to if there is a reaction. my go to first food is avocado and then carrots. I waited a week between each food to be safe. once a day is plenty for starters

Maybe around his "lunch time bottle" for starters. babies really do not have the oral coordination to eat off the spoon, mash with their mouths, and swallow at first so it may be a while before you notice a decrease in formula being used

They say don't start at 4 months if baby isn't ready if your pedi said kiddo is ready kiddo is probably ready. Mine said my little lady was ready so I started my daughter on baby oatmeal at 4 months and in the morning we did one bottle then oatmeal then bottles the rest of the day, at five months I introduced stage 1 solids so I did bottle, oatmeal, bottle stage 1 solid (apple, sweet potatoe, peas) then bottles the rest of the day then at 6 months I added solid in at dinner with bottles all after that

Is your baby still content with just the bottle or is he still hungry quickly after?

If not I would start mixing his milk/formula with a lil mb a tsp to start

Well I saw from your page he's five months old so I'd say as long as he can sit up then that should be fine

@keepingupwithhenry, it was bottle play time when she was hungry again id give her oatmeal, then after her nap she'd get another bottle then play then stage 1 solids

Yes before and I recommend lunch time feeding so you both are more awake
