I was told I have to be six weeks along for my first ultrasound, but I'm going to be in BFE Colorado…

This happened to me. I was out of town for my first ultrasound appointment. so when I was out of town I went to a free clinic and had my ultrasound there instead. just so I knew everything was okay. and I kept that information logged into my diary to report back to my Dr back home.

my biggest concern right now is that I'm currently unemployed, and I don't have e insurance. I just found out today that I'm pregnant, and I'm about 5 weeks. I'm leaving for Colorado on the 20th of this month.

there are tons of free clinics in every state that don't require insurance. I went up to 20 weeks without insurance. I got insurance through the government for free and they back-paid all my visits.

I'm trying to apply for Medicaid, but I'm not sure how to do it. I'm not married, (yet) and I'm going to Colorado for vacation. First baby (obviously) and I'm just scared. I don't want to do anything wrong

Most places wont see you until you are 9 weeks, or at least where I live. They wanted me to wait till 10 weeks for first ultrasound, and there really nothing to see at that point

Around Dove Creek.. closer to Monticello, Utah but the closest hospital is 45 minutes away

I'm not sure what the insurance is called in Utah where your profile says your from but there's this thing called access in Arizona & its insurance for people who can't afford it or who are having babies or whatever the case is & it pays for everything. I'm sure Utah has something similar to look into. just call and reschedule your appointment , or if you haven't made one, just call & be like I'm going out of town so I'd need an appointment in July when I get back. I'm sure it will be fine as long as your doctor knows. they might even see you early before you leave in your case. you just have to call and check with them.

I'm not sure what it is...I know if I apply for Medicaid, seeing as I'm expecting a child, they would cover me.. but I don't think it's free
