Comfy clothes forsure, and baby clothes is all I had time to pack. The provided like tshirts for the baby, diapers, and baby formula!
Omg. I WAY overpacked. Take your hospital tour and see what they provide before you go shopping. The only things I used from my bag were my robe, slippers, yoga pants (a size bigger so they're not tight in case you have a c section like I did), nursing cami, body wash, lotion, pillow, and towel. The pillows and towels at the hospital SUCK. They provided mesh underwear and monster pads (ask for extras when you leave, trust me) and everything I needed for the baby while I was there (again ask for extra when you're leaving).
A blanket for my little one, and a going home outfit was literally all I needed for her. For myself, I had a cover, pjs, slippers, lotion, deodorant, soap, hair care products, and a going home outfit. I was in the hospital from Monday-Saturday, so I stayed longer than most. Hope this helps!
I really didn't pack anything since I was early. I wish I packed shampoo and conditioner and body wash. comfy, loose fitting clothes was the only useful thing and then my toothbrush and paste and a hairbrush. oh and I had my nursing bra.
