Hi ladies, have any of you taken Phenoxymethylpenicillin tablets while pregnant ?, I spoke to my doctor on the phone earlier and she said I needed to take some antibiotics for this tonsillitis I have! So she sent a prescription to the chemist, my sister went to collect if for me as I'm not well enough to get out of bed. The chemist man said that there was already a prescription for me from earlier on in the year with the same medication so he gave her that. However in the leaflet it says that I can only take Phenoxymethylpenicillin film coated tablets if my doctor has said so, I'm not sure if the prescription she sent through today was for non film coated! I tried to ring the pharmacy back but have had no answer :(
