thinking about just giving up breastfeeding.. he breastfeeds and does formula. but my supply seems to be coming in less and less to me because I don't have time throughout the day to pump. he never seems to get full when I do breastfeed him I always have to give him a bottle afterwards.
@annasmomma12, so like after I feed him feel and see if I feel any lumps? or will it feel lumpy even before I feed him?
Yea I had to massage mine a lot cuz for some reason I was still lumpy and had more milk even after I pumped
@annasmomma12, I have no clue I've never knew you needed to make sure they were open or whatever 😅 @babyjjsmommy a lot of it could deal with me not being hydrated I was dehydrated a lot while pregnant too for some reason I just don't drink enough at all
Make sure you are drinking at least 8-10 glasses of water a day. Staying hydrated is the main thing. There are several lactation smoothie recipes/ lactation cookie recipes that you can make as well. I can send you some or you can search " lactation smoothie" or "lactation cookies" on Pinterest and there are a ton of recipes that'll pop up. Eat oatmeal every single morning. I do instant but the kind you actually have to cook apparently work better. Also they have teas specifically for breastfeeding mothers, and fenugreek pills seem to work best for most people!
Mothers milk tea is really good from what I've heard. I'm gonna try it when I have my baby. I didn't do anything like that with my first daughter and stopped producing like 6 weeks after I had her
You may need to use warm compresses and massage them to help the milk ducts burst
@meboom01, no I didn't know they had any all people told me was to pump more.
And also yes make sure you are hydrated especially since it's starting to feel like summer push the electrolytes
