Try apple cider vinegar with a drop or two of dish detergent, stir gently, cover it with plastic wrap and poke holes so the flies can get in. Works wonders. Keep your garbage clean, take it out every day and any warm and moist areas in your kitchen need to be dried and cleaned. They live in dark moist and warm places. Good luck!!

I had this problem last year.. We poured draino down our sinks and closed the plug thing for like an hour.. We had to kill the ones still flying around it worked

put some sugar water in a glass and cover it with plastic wrap. poke holes in the plastic wrap with a tac. they'll fly in and can't get back out

Poor some bleach down all your drains that will get rid of them fast
