to moms who are pass the 3-6week stage was it true for y'all when they say this can be the hardest time?? my son is not wanting to sleep and cries he's fed, diaper changed, took off clothes to make sure it wasn't that even gave him gas drops. but nothing seems to work.

@scarlettsmom, @maybaby2016 I know it won't last forever. I'm just so drained I started crying tonight just because I wasn't able to take a shower. I just hate hearing him cry too makes me feel like I'm doing something wrong.
babies go through growth spurts where their sleep gets messed up, they get really fussy and they even eat less/more. hang in there, it won't last forever.
Yeah they got their sleep schedule all messed up I remember my boyfriend used to tell me my baby was kicking while I was asleep. That's when I realized she was gunna keep me up at night 😒 lol but try to keep him awake during the day talk to him a lot so he can be worn out & he can sleep longer at night. Hang in there it only lasts so long.
@scarlettsmom, he will be a month on the 18th. he was doing good but lately these past few nights have been awful, I'm trying everything but it's not working and all I've looked up it said they have this stage between 3-6 weeks where they don't sleep as much or something like that.
From my experience yes, the first month is very hard. They don't adjust to our schedule we have to adjust to theirs. My daughter used to be like that but when she turned 2 months she started sleeping through the night she doesn't wake up at night anymore she'll be 3 months on the 18.
Totally understandable, we all have moments like that with newborns sometimes. I'm sorry you're feeling that way. I hope you get some rest soon.
