I'm having so much stress because my youngest daughter Abby has Hands Foot and Mouth Disease and I just found out that if I get it then I can pass it to Baby Penny when I give birth(being induced in 6days) to her or even afterwards. Then they say that her getting it in the first two weeks of being born is the most dangerous since she has no immune system and can cause life threatening infection.
I read something about people drinking apple cider vinegar to avoid getting sick in the 1800s you could look into it. Maybe Google "apple cider vinegar to avoid getting sick"
Oh well she been her play yard we haven't took her out of it and the only things she been in contact with is the play yard her sippy cup, pacifier and blanket. Because my 2year old touches everything her sister touches. Plus all she really wants to do is lay down and sleep. So I'm lucky I don't have to clean a lot of stuff. I need to wash my diaper bag because she did touch it when we went to the ER. @mamabear9456 I'm hoping it doesn't spread to me my husband or my 2year old.
Get those wipes and do door handles and everything, that stuff spreads like wild fire I used to work at a day care and it's crazy how much anxiety I got chasing the one year olds around with Lysol 😂 I would've kept spraying the whole kid if I could lmao just kidding best of luck ❤️
Yeah my mother in law will probably wipe everything down in the whole house while I'm in the hospital.
Just make sure to clean every room in the house before you leave and have your husband go home spray the house before you come home
Well I been keeping her in her play yard in the living room(her and her sister share a room) so I don't want her to get it also. Yeah I'm trying to but I get induced in 6days and it says it takes 7-10days to clear up. So it kind of worries me about when I have Penny!! @mamabear9456
Stock up on Lysol and hand sanitizer and medicine and try and cure it as fast as possible and get rid of all symptoms!
Yeah that's what the dr had mentioned but when I talked to my OB she said that since I'm pregnant and your immune system is low that I'm more likely to get it. I really hope it's true and I don't get it!!! @momof2.16
It's not as likely for adults to get it. My mom said I never had it but when my daughter had it I managed to get by without getting it. And she slept in the bed with me and drooled all over me lol. You will most likely be fine! Stay positive :)
Thank you so much!!! Im trying my best not to get it. I'm constantly washing my hands using gloves and hand sanitizer. I'm just so scared I'm going to get it and give it to the baby. @mskiera15
Not right now. My husband has to work tonight until 5am but he will be off the next 3days but he goes back to work Friday. Yes it is the dr told me she was 3rd kid they saw that day with it. @mskiera15
What that's crazy I'm going to have to look it up because I can not get sick. Plus my skin is drying up from all this washing and hand sanitizer I been using. @mamabear9456
