Sorry this might be TMI but my doctor mentioned me being tested for group B strep at my next appointment. I know they swab your vagina but I read that they swab your rectum, is this true? My doctor didn't mention this part so I'm just wondering.

cass_lynne It all depends. My OB started checking at 36 weeks and did the swab at 37 weeks.
