what do you put on new born skin keep from peeling?

you really cant stop it . its a natural process. itll stop on its own you dont have to do anything special

you can definitely use lotion. keep baby moisturized. the skin peeling is different for every baby. but its not harmful.

lotion wont help pretty much nothing will it usually happens to babies who go past 38 weeks its all natural.

They say not to use lotion on a baby that young (that's what the hospital and pediatrician told me) the flaking is completely normal and just needs to happen. Eating/drinking it what keeps them moisturized(hydrated)

@lovemj, I was scared to use any lotion but it started getting so bad when he was two weeks old I put aquaphor for babies on the dry patches and get got better within a few days

my son skin was super dry and peeling. my Pediatrician told me to use this lotion and within a few days I saw a difference!!! it's pricey but so worth it!! I got it at Walgreens.

Oh and he's three weeks old
