For me personally it comes out in bits. I've read that a lot of women's come out in a glob and are blood tinged. Mine looks like snot.

They can also regenerate. I've been losing mine since like 15w.

omg mine was a huge glob. looked like a big gooey piece of gum lol

for me, it seemed never ending. little pieces for weeks, then a week or so of huge globs
