Don't know what area of the us you're in but Subarus are super safe and very reliable! I have two of them and I can't imagine owning any other brand of vehicle.

If you look at cars . Com you can select filter and such (like under 15,000) and near you. You'll get private sellers and dealers. You can filter either one out. Choose 4 door, suv, automatic, etc etc

Then just look up safety and reviews of a few top pics
