My baby just turned 3 months old and we are going on our first family vacation. I am a very anxious flyer but even more so with our little one. We know to feed during take off and landings. We bought her her own seat to take her car seat. Anyone have any more advice??
I'm buying them for 4 of July for sure for the fireworks. But the airplane makes a lot noise. And some babies like it and some don't. I'm going to find out. Or if your baby is sleeping and the pilot starts talking. Sudden sounds wake babies up. Hm I'm going to buy them for sure.
@eskawho, we have 1 layover in Charlotte and we plan on gate checking as well we have the Bob Travel System and we bought the stroller bag but she gets so heavy in her car seat so that's why we're taking the stroller. Thank you! 💕
You can also buy noise canceling headphones for babies. I was going to buy it but I forgot. 😑
I was worried about that too but of the four times we flew she slept during take off and landing 3 times and fussed a little once and it wasn't to bad...use a binky or feed and that will help a lot.do you have any lay overs? air ports for us had a lot of walking we gate checked a stroller to use between flights. good luck, I'm sure everything will go nice and smooth. just give yourself extra time.
@eskawho, Oh yes it's approved and We have had practice using a lap belt in my mothers car thank you!! I have a really good baby just worried about her ears. We went to her pediatrician and she said she's nice a healthy to go lol a bit paranoid I guess.. But I just want her to be okay.
make sure your carseat is fda approved...should say in manual or on the seat. not all carseats will fit on airline seats. and practice strapping it in with a lap belt. I took a trip with my 1 year old but I held her...she slept the entire flight there and back lol.
Good idea I totally didn't think about that. Noises are starting to effect her. @alekismyworld
