It's always about half 8 in the night Dylan will constantly scream and strain to go toilet, I've literally tried everything I can think off, any one got any suggestions and I'll say if I have tried them? he screams for hours in until he falls asleep crying and I hate seeing him in pain😭

Mix abit of sugar in some water for him and let him have a few mouthfuls my HV suggested that to me. Also is he bottle fed? The ready made cartoons of formula have natural lactose in them. When my lb gets really constipated he has one of those and he goes with in the hour!

My daughter was a bit like this. If you think it is constipation try massaging her feet. It always makes Thea poop. If you type 'reflexology for baby constipation' into google you'll get some good article. The brown sugar in warm water works a treat too. X @leigh-amyxo
it definitely is @zoemarie xx
your welcome 😊 I know it's horrible seeing them in pain and not being able to help @leigh-amyxo xxx
thankyou hun @zoemarie definitely going to speak to HV xxxx
Oscar was the same when he was about 2-3 weeks old .. he was constantly straining and getting upset, I changed him from SMA to Aptamil and he was like a completely different baby, don't think SMA was agreeing with him, but if it's only at night I think it could be more colic .. I think they say certain times a day baby will be unsettled when suffering with colic but ask your HV just in case 😊 @leigh-amyxo hope he settles better for you soon xxx
okay thanks hun @winterbaby95 I'm going to give hv a ring tomorrow xx
@leigh-amyxo It gives them bad stomach pain :) xx
Yeah will that stop him going toilet? @winterbaby95 xx
Sounds like colic hun xxx
I use infacol and gripe water I'm definitely going to ring hv tomorrow and see what she says @cookedsushi thanks hun xx
Not sure sugar is a great idea tbh....see a doc xx
this really does work though. I think sugar on a regular basis is not good but as a one off or every now and then to help baby is ok. Id def give it a go xxx @leigh-amyxo xxx
