As stupid as it sounds... It happens how it happens and every labour is different. I didn't go to one class when pregnant. Nothing can depend on how short or long your labour is, and I don't care what anyone says, nothing eases the pain either. Breathing goes out the bloody window and you do what you've gotta do! It'll come naturally to you. All I can say is follow what the midwife is telling you to do xx

I went to them and they were absoloutly useless hun. Nothing like how they said xx

thank you @lottegilxo that's pretty much what my other half has said! He said what will happen will happen and to just go with the flow! when he said it earlier I felt like saying go with the bloody flow!! you go with the flow!! but actually I suppose it kinda makes sense xxx

@zoee23, oh really? well that makes me feel a bit better! I started my maternity today and have spent half the day online stressing and trying to find courses! I think I'm just going to leave it. Always people around who can advise if needs be isn't there xxx thank you

Its no problem 😊 I just found them a waste of time. I was supposed to go to 3 classes and they only did 2. They rushed through them!! I was not impressed at all xxxxx

Throwing a cat among the pigeons here now, but I found ours really good 😐 am glad I went as I feel a bit more prepared now, she was very general about how labour goes etc as of course everyone is different. But to have a rough idea and be able to ask questions specific to the hospital where I'll be giving birth was really good. As a first time mum am glad we went x

@ssumner, I bet some of them are really good just depends on your hospital I suppose. It's certainly good to feel prepared xx

At first it did but my mam and other people said nothing can prepare you for having a baby. Reading the books and going to the classes is great but isn't necessarily going to prepare you. I suppose I was disappointed because I wanted to see what it was all about this being my first baby but I'm not fussed now. Xxx

My hospital offers a whole morning class where it tells you everything in one go then get a tour of the maternity ward. That's the one im doing and I'll be about 34 weeks.x

I've been impatient for a few weeks but now I'm just past it. 😂🙈 totally at the point that he'll come when he's ready, although knowing my luck I will have to force him out with being induced if I go over. Just want to hold him now. Xxx

@stacey804, that's a better way to look at it though isn't it. they will come when they are ready! but yeah still don't stop you longing to hold them!! It gets me through knowing that the whole pregnancy has actually flown by for me, it's just these last few weeks now! xxx

Yeah to be honest I can't complain because my pregnancy has also flown by. It's just this end bit where I know the end is in sight but feels like it's being moved further away. The only frustrating thing is people in the street, on the phone, ringing or texting, no baby yet?! I'm like no... Thanks for reminding me 😂 xxx
