My midwife told me it was just incase we need to have a section it reduces the risk of infection because apparently the hair does something I can't remember but apparently it's a new thing that they are told to tell us not to do xx

Because if you have a section and you've shaved you can end up with ingrown hairs which would cause infection xxx
