Anyone else think this is screwed up?

we invited my MIL down when the baby is born and she is asking me about asking my doctor for a induction so her boyfriend can put in vacation time and come with her. We offered her to come stay with us after he is born but not him. I dont know him, I have only met my SO's mom ONCE and thats when we told her we were having a baby. No one invited the dude! Like thanks for asking? Now Im not sure about either one of them coming. I know she is gonna put on a big fight when she finds out she isnt gonna be in the room. Its just gonna be me and my SO. this is bullshit.
