i had planned on staying home with my baby till she was two but an old boss called me and made me an offer I can't refuse. so here's my questionI/problem: I don't want our bf journey to end, I plan on nursing during the day and trying to pump bottles for my husband to feed her at night but I'm scared my supply will drop or a pumping schedule will just be too much. with the type of job it is I'll only be guaranteed a 30min break and even then it may be hard to pump. how can I keep up my supply and any pumping advice because at night I barely get 1oz out.
do those work pretty well? I'll be looking for them next time I go shopping @littlemissrainesmommy
lol natural Valley has these soft baked oatmeal bars in different flavors that you could try lol definitely better than just plain old oatmeal!! lol
@littlemissrainesmommy, I'll be working at an adolescent inpatient rehab so extra breaks aren't really feasible and if I push that issue they won't hire me. so I hope pumping before and after my shift and maybe in my 30 min break will be enough. thanks for the advice, looks like I'll be eating oatmeal for dinner a lot lol
and I've heard if you look at pictures of baby while pumping it helps, eat oatmeal, drink lots of water. maybe try taking fenugreek?? good luck mama!!
I've been eating them since before I had her and I've not had any kind of supply issues.. I pump once in the morning and usually get almost 4 oz! so I'm guessing lol and I've noticed when I drink more water and Gatorade I make more too!
